This is a two-day course focused on Pistol Combatives. Pistol Combatives is being able to seamlessly transition between striking, pistol deployment and blade deployment based on what is tactically and situationally appropriate. This course will cover: mindset, loading procedures, concealed draw stroke, combative weapons retention shooting, blade selection, blade deployment and targeting, striking and transitions from striking/ blade use to pistol deployment.
About Amtac Shooting Instructor, Bryan Resnick
Bryan “Res” Resnick is a U.S. Army veteran and current Law Enforcement Officer with over 20 years combined experience. For the last 14 years he has been a member of a Regional S.W.A.T Team made up of 46 cities and towns that covers approximately 600 square miles. He has extensive real-world operational experience, to include the 2013 Marathon Bombing and Manhunt. Positions held include assaulter, sniper, department firearms lead and team firearms lead.
Res is passionate about training and combatives. He is committed to improvement and enjoys helping good Americans on their path to becoming more capable.

Student Gear List:
Handgun, full size or compact (please no subcompacts)
3-4 pistol standard capacity magazines
Concealed holster (I recommend the Blackpointtactical.com FO3) *Holster must be all kydex from a reputable manufacturer
Aluminum training blade (Amtac Blades, Sayoc, Atienza or HeadhunterBlades)
Non-firing pistol shape or SIRT pistol or blue gun
Clothing typical of your everyday dress, but ones that you don't mind getting dirty
Eye and ear protection
Spare parts/ oil for pistol
350 rounds of training ammo
Hat, sunscreen, water, snacks
Blow-out kit and tourniquet (not required but always recommended when shooting)
Because this is a private course, a password is required to register.
