2023 03 10 Hybrid Carbine

If you can only take one rifle, which one is it? That question has been asked by a lot of very capable men. My answer is the Hybrid Carbine, a 11.5-16 in accurate 5.56 rifle with a 1-6, 1-8 or 1-10 power LPVO. With this setup you can shoot anything from CQB distances to 400-700 yards and beyond. This course will work carbine fundamentals and then jump right in to medium distance shooting (out to 400-700 yards).

Student Gear List

AR-15 style “hybrid carbine”**(if you really want to run something else let me know and we can discuss)
4-5 rifle magazines.
Method of carrying rifle mags. Can be a chest rig, plate carrier, battle belt or back pocket.
Eye protection/ hearing protection.
Loose fitting pants/ shirt/ gloves and knee pads are optional.
Blow out kit and tourniquet (not required but always recommended when shooting)
Spare parts for rifle. Spare batteries for optics/ flashlight.
Cleaning kit/ lube.
350 rds manipulation ammunition/ 200 rds accurate ammunition.
Spotting Scope (nice to have but not mandatory).
Range Finder (nice to have but not mandatory).
Kestrel (nice to have but not mandatory).
