The Amtac Shooting Custom Pistol Combatives Private Course 

This is a custom two day pistol combatives course. This class will reinforce pistol fundamentals as well as working more advanced drills. Topics covered will include, drawstroke, combative weapons retention shooting, other strong hand blade deployment and targeting, strong had only shooting,  shooting and moving drills, a stop the bleeding class and mindset.

About the Instructor, Bill Rapier

Bill Rapier is the owner and lead instructor of American Tactical Shooting Instruction LLC, also known as Amtac Shooting. He is recently retired after twenty years in the Navy, where his duty assignments included several years at SEAL Team 3 and over 14 years at Naval Special Warfare Development Group. Positions held include assaulter, breacher, sniper, team leader, troop chief and military working dog department senior enlisted adviser. He has always been an avid shooter and is heavily involved in combatives.

Student Gear List:

• Handgun, full size or compact (please no subcompacts)2. 3-4 pistol standard capacity magazines
• 3-4 pistol standard capacity magazines
• Concealed holster (I recommend the Blackpointtactical.com FO3) *Holster must be all kydex from a reputable manufacturer
• Aluminum training blade (Amtac Blades, Sayoc, Atienza or HeadhunterBlades)
• Non-firing pistol shape or SIRT pistol or blue gun
• Clothing typical of your everyday dress, but ones that you don't mind getting dirty
• Eye and ear protection
• Spare parts/ oil for pistol
• 700 rounds of training ammo
• Hat, sunscreen, water, snacks
• Blow-out kit and tourniquet (not required but always recommended when shooting)
